In Japan, garbage is colour coded: Green is for recyclable trash, red is for burnable and blue is for non-burnable. Design agency MAQ thought the streets would be prettier if they turned the garbage bags into disposable art, in three patters- trees, fish and flowers.

Cubi is a pre-assembled, 74 square foot cube-shaped living area inserted into a long-empty office building in Amsterdam to create an instant hotel. Each unit has a Hästens hand-made bed, Philippe Starck bathroom, LCD TV and LED lighting that you can adjust the colour of to your taste.
... cool idea. It remember me a construction class, I mean ... the prime idea of the completly useful design

I'm back ... still alive and well xD ... so .. to start this blog again I leave you with this cool building. It's a conversion of a water tower into a residence in Soest, Utrecht, Netherlands in 2004.
